What is the difference between Sandals and Beaches?
Sandals is adults-only, for couples. Beaches is the family brand from the same company, open to all ages. If you are travelling with children, Beaches is not the better choice — it is the only choice.
They share an owner, a service culture and the same all-inclusive philosophy: meals, drinks, tips, watersports and airport transfers are all in the rate at both. What changes is who is allowed through the gate and what the resort is built around.

Can children stay at Sandals?
No. Sandals resorts are adults-only with an 18+ minimum, without exception. This is the single most common misunderstanding about the brand.
It is not a policy that flexes for a quiet, well-behaved ten-year-old or for a wedding party. If anyone in your group is under 18, the booking has to go to Beaches.
Where are the Beaches resorts?
Turks and Caicos, and Negril in Jamaica. Beaches Turks & Caicos is the flagship — a multi-village property built for large family groups.
Worth knowing: Sandals has no resort in Turks and Caicos. If Turks and Caicos is the destination you want, Beaches is the only way to get the Sandals-family experience there — and it is open to adult-only couples too.
Can a couple without children stay at Beaches?
Yes. Beaches accepts adult couples, and some choose it specifically for Turks and Caicos or for a trip where they will later be joined by family.
The trade is atmosphere. A Beaches resort in July has water slides and kids camps running at full volume, which is exactly what a family wants and exactly what most couples on a honeymoon do not.
Is Beaches more expensive than Sandals?
Not inherently, but family bookings usually cost more in total because you are paying for more people and often for a larger suite.
