Why do Canadians end up paying peak rates?
Because Canadian demand and Sandals' low season are almost exactly out of phase. Sandals rates drop from June through November; Canadians want to travel from December through March, which is the most expensive window of the year.
This is the single biggest lever on a Canadian booking, and almost nobody explains it. The same resort, the same room, moved from February to September, is a materially different price.
